How to Retrieve Pictures from Canon Powershot G1 X

Last year people were waiting so patiently for the emergence of mirror less interchangeable lens camera, they had waited so long for canon and Nikon to be readily available. Canon’s approach is like to be of more interest. The canon’s Powershot G1 X is the king of canon’s point and shoots cameras. It’s a large sensor camera with a flexible 4x zoom lens, 28-112mm equivalent and brilliant manual control.G1 X offers almost all of the extensive external controls provided by G12- a camera which is a product of today’s generation. It is, in short a serious camera for serious photographers which conclude that great photography is nothing to do with whether or not you own a DLSR camera. It can be yours for around £700.

Canon G1 X specification Highlights
  • 3.0” LCD display
  • 14MP 1.5” CMOS sensor(18.7x14mm)
  • 28-112mm F2.8-5.8 Lens

Similar to other models Powershot G1 X also use SD card for the storage of pictures. You can use any brands memory card in your camera but you have to be ready to face consequences if you are using local memory card just to save your money. There is possibility that your memory card gets corrupted or inaccessible, resultant that you can’t access your pictures any more.

There is no need to worry; you can still recover your pictures back. Third party recovery software will amazingly recover all your pictures from inaccessible memory card. I had personally used stellar phoenix photo recovery and recovered all my pictures which are inaccessible. Software also has its free demo version on its official website from where you can download the software and start using it, demo version has all its features present in full version, and free demo version allows you to know about the features and working of the software.
